Based purely on what's visible, the studio looks very promising. I can't wait to see the new studio and Wales Today in full HD when they eventually move!
It's also a nice change that the design appears fresh and different to the usual NBH set structure.
Don't want to be a killjoy bit might be an idea to edit your post to remove the name of your source - don't want anybody getting in trouble if the new look wasn't meant to be public yet.
It will be interesting to see how that works, the desk in the corner set up could have some of the issues Breakfast have for DTL interviews.
Looks like similar cameras suspended from the grid like Sky News have.
Surely they won't be leaving it until next year unless they absolutely have to.
Yes, that seems a long time considering how complete that looks. Some staff moved into the building at the beginning of the year
Building the set, and lighting it up, are the easy bits considering the technology that's being deployed there!
Yes, quite. Although I imagine the technology in the studio itself isn't that much different to the norm compared with new IP infrastructure they're working with everywhere else.
The way that studio is looking they're long into technical run-throughs
Looks good but isn't that completely different to the original virtual walk through which had them in a curved space overlooking the atrium IIRC? Indeed it seems to be a great use of a space that doesn't actually look to be as big as it first appears.
