Worth mentioning that the S4C weather service moves to the BBC next week as well so will be part of the same setup.

Not sure if this is worth mentioning/already has been but Ffeil presenter Alex Humphreys is leaving the programme to become a weather presenter. Not sure if on S4C or BBC.

Great that Ffeil (basically the Welsh version of Newsround) is still going.

Alex Humphreys becoming S4C weather presenter in Central square. http://www.s4c.cymru/en/press/post/39417/alex-humphreys-joins-s4cs-weather-crew/. S4C weather was presented in Tinopolis studios in Llanelli. I wonder if they will bring Newyddion ( S4C news) and S4C Tywydd (Weather) together, with both finally being produced in the same buildings by the same company. Here's a picture of the new Newyddion studio, looking good.

Right. Who’s hoping another title update for both programmes I think it’s unnecessary

I think after 12 years of basically the same titles on Wales Today it is long overdue a refresh. Newyddion probably less so - they've benefitted from moving away from the corporate look.
AndrewPSSP, BBI45 and Ballyboy gave kudos

Live action titles would be nice with the rings and place names and ending on central square.

I think Club Rygbi will be broadcast at CSq on S4C from Friday week at 8pm for Round 1 of The Pro14 between Leinster & Dragons.

what
Are the OB cameras HD? Or will we be left with SD packages after the move?

Nice feature from the Wales Today team to say goodbye to Broadcasting House Llandaff. Had everything - behind the scenes, old footage, old idents, old presenters (no rotas), and a quick look at Central Square studios

Here's the VT mentioned as above + weather/close:

So in terms of TV studios, am I right in saying that Llandaff had:

C1 - Main production studio, Crimewatch, ex Pobol y Cwm, general use
C2 - Wales Today/Newyddion
C3 - ex studio, converted to offices
C4 - seems to have been used for sport recently as a drive-in with a scanner

plus radio Studio 1 can be used at a pinch (Crimewatch used it before Pobol vacated C1)

Is there a comprehensive list of what the new place has got?
