BBC Choice DOG

It's just gone 7.30pm and BBC Choice are still showing the DOG with the C-BBC web address on rather than their normal Choice one.

Has someone, perchance, forgotten to press the right button at 7pm when C-BBC on Choice ends - I suspect so!

This isn't unusual. It happens most nights but the've usually sorted it by 7:30. Obviously not got round to it yet.

If I remember rightly, there never used to be a web address under the BBC Choice logo - right people?

Indeed - the URL first appeared in November 2000. From October 1999-November 2000 (and September-November 1998) it just said |B|B|C| CHOICE - and from November 1998-October 1999 there was no DOG at all!  Happy days...

Remind me again, DOG stands for Digital On-screen Graphic?

I've seen web wrong-ups on Choice several times too... maybe they'll get round it by making Liquid News part of CBBC? They can certainly be described as childish... BTW Katherine you are right! They're also known in the industry as 'bugs'.
