BBC Choice

The lovely woman c/a has dissapeared from BBC CHOICE. She has been replaced with a boring man voice who really sounds as if he needs a good old kick up the a*se. Cheer up it's christmas.

I've heard both of them in the past couple of weeks. Don't much like either of them.

Has that woman gone for good do we know? Or has she just 'Driven Home for Christmas?' (as in the song).

They were both crap there better of having no voice over if you ask me! (Well on Choice)

I don't like the woman who does Sky One she has been doing this for over 4 years and it's annoying with the stupid jokes and ruins the credits on the Simpsons and stuff.

Has anyone noticed that ITV2 and ITV Sport Channel have the same announcers.

To Sky bring back the guy with the deep voice saying: ' You're watching Sky One '

i hate the bbc choice announcers - cant put my finger on why, but i just dont like it. im all for friendly continuity, but this doesnt really work on choice for some reason.

bbc knowledge seems to have bbc one/two announcers (i think?), which ok IMO.

does anyone know whether either channel has recorded continuity?

I think they are great because they are northern. You don't hear many northern ca's on TV!

BBC CHOICE and BBC KNOWLEDGE both have recorded continuity. As does Sky One, UKTV, Bravo... In fact, I can't think of any digital channels which don't have recorded CAs (E4 has live announcers - at least some of the time, if not all)

Sky One's CA is Claire Sturgess, once of Radio 1, now presenting the RiOT on MTV2, a show of Xfm and the inspiration behind a song by Mark and Lard here .

i like the announcers on all the ukTV network, i think they get it just right

I cant stand northern accents it makes me feel sick and it somehow makes what their saying seem pathetic and cheap
