Charter Renewal has been widely discussed for the past 18 months... where have you been?

Have the BBC always known about the plan to scrap the governors with a 'BBC Trust'? I only ask after a quick check reveals "bbctrust.co.uk" was registered a couple of days before "bbcgovernors.co.uk". One big conspiracy? Probably not but I thought I'd point it out...!

The green paper was published about a year ago I think.
