This programme seems to be more an equivalent to Casualty than Neighbours.

Looking at Wikipedia it's an hour-long programme (so 40 minutes on the BBC) and 390 eps have been made (so would be in-sync with Australia in a little over a year if played out every day).

Not really a Neighbours replacement....

We don't have that many - Neighbours and H&A are the only two (thank god). There's also McLeod's Daughters (which might be on the Hallmark Channel or something) which might also do the trick, it's been on since about 2001 weekly.

I can post a video and/or caps in a week's time (it would have finished about an hour and a half ago) if anyone's interested.

Seems more like a Holby type show rather than a soap.
