It's a good job, BBC News 24 has a dedicated studio!

Yeah - I agree, that's the shame of it! Who was the presenter? He didn't seem very competent. There didn't seem to be any set programme order - it seemed to be a case of 'umm.. what shall we do next, oh, let's put up the FTSE graphix and make smalltalk about it' IMO.

It all seems half-baked

Oh yeah the presenter, who's he, maybe they should have nicked Mishal Husain from World Business Report!

Most importantly, I think Sky's content is more superior & diverse

Exactly my point.
The first show should have been prepared for in advance.
They should have started the programme with an important interview as it was the first show, not made any mistakes and put a hell of a lot more effort into the first show!
Sky was practising for 2 weeks solid before they went on air, that looks like they were working on it for 2 hours, with most of the guests being from the BBC itself!

I think John Terrett would make a good job of it! He's always game for a laugh!

As for all that FTSE info they put up.

'we've seen the currencies' - so why the hell have you still got them on screen?!

Then he makes up a load of rubbish about the FTSE!
Compare this to the Money programme in the afternoon on Sky.
They have a business presenter standing in a semi virtual studio with the FTSE info flashing up at the side of her/him with currency info etc and it is actually prepared what they are going to say.
Whereas they seemed to just stick the graphics up on screen and say 'Right, adlib this one mate we haven't got a clue about the FTSE'.

Anyway, you shall have to excuse me I am off for some revision.

You make the content sound bad, i'll stick to World Business Report, it's on now, goodbye!

That is because the content was bad.
