Yes last night (Oct 25) they did indeed play out the full opening titles! And it's not the only time that's happened. In most cases it is the sting, but rarely they'll play the full ident. I don't know why they do this, as it is pretty annoying! But I also agree that the full titles are much better than that stupid sting.

I don't think that Look North do anything regarding stings or titles, they just cut to Peter/Charlotte and cut back to Breakfast news when the bulletin's done.
