BBC Breakfast Background

What is the background of on BBC Breakfast. Is it fake or real. If its real what is it because it dosn't look like a newsroom

It's at British Airways Headquarters.

Does anybody actually like those red squares??? They're awful in my op, spesh when you don't feel well from the night before.

I quite like them. I think this set is the best one Breakfast has ever had. I love Moira's Island.

Yeah, it is cool to see Moira with the rest of the gang. Couldn't she be just that tad bit closer to the sofa though.

Hmm...... sounds like there's theme park potential there..... Moira's Island, THE place to be....

Re Breakfast Set

I don't like it at all, it is unrelenting schlock. The colours clash, the furnitures looks like MFI seconds.
It reminds me of an Austin Powers set.

I worked out why Breakfast's astons are red and white, to match the sofa and the table tops; hows that for style !

There was a large thread containing some similar views about breakfasts cr*p set but oddly it has suddenly disappeared.

Really don't like the background in the breakfast set. It looks so fake!

It reminds me of the wobbly painting of Ramsay Street you used to see behind Mrs Mangel's net curtains.

Not really connected to the background, but Radio Times says that Michael Buerk, yes thats right, Michael BUERK, is due to present Breakfast on Wed, Thurs and Fri....surely not?!?! They must mean Peschardt, surely?! Though Buerk is apparently doing the 10 as well on the Friday, that seems more likely. But Breakfast, surely not...?!

Yeah he is. Michael Buerk is going to present Breakfast for a couple of days but not sure about Friday as he is also doing the Ten.

One of the rare times I've laughed whilst viewing this forum - when my eyes strolled over the words....'Moira's Island'!!!! Classic!
I never watch Breakfast because i find it boring, although admittidly I've never actually sat down and attempted to watch the whole thing. If i was up that early in the Summer, I'd probably watch GMTV or Rise.

I don't think of Michael Buerk as a morning person. You need to see a cheery fellow at that time of the day to help wake you up. Not somebody who'll send you back to bed.
