Just saw a trailer for BBC Breakfast - in the same style as the Six trailer, with a relaxed Dermot and Natasha talking against a white background. I wonder when the 10 O'clock News one will debut (well, it's bound to now, isn't it?).
Do you think perhaps that this is a hint that all of BBC One's news output will get a new look? Although it may be unlikely because Breakfast only just got new music...
I've seen it. I wouldn't read too much into it either. It is in line with the trailer we have seen for the Six with Dermot and Natasha casually chatting about what they like about Breakfast etc........ It's obviously a generic advert the beeb are using for their news bulletins. I really cant see any changes to Breakfast. The set was only touched up just recently as was the music.
Also if you look at the trailer for the six, you will see George on a tv with the current backdrop behind him (left panel with news centre). I cant see them changing much to the studio. The current desk is suitable for two or more presenters. If they do anything, perhaps they will import another projector screen for pres two. Apart from that, I cant see any other changes.
Seems silly to start a new thread about this, but I just saw the 10 O'clock News trailer on BBC Two after Farscape. Like the others, it doesn't give much away, and I think it featured some of the current graphics (I didn't look very carefully though).
Huw Edwards has promised to make sure that there is no stories about Posh and Becks on the 10! He says its boring and unimportant. Liquid News will therefore have no more coverage on the North Korea Nuclear Crisis:
Sorry to bring it down to very juvenile levels, but....
I never saw why people said Natasha Kaplinsky was attractive before I saw the Breakfast trailer. What a stunning woman!
