For those interested, there are images and a video clip of the new 'Blue Planet' ident on page one of the BBC ONE '1997 - Current' section on The TV Room.

Unfortunately James, no mailing list. I just look on this as further duplication of the likes of the site 'What's New' page and the various channel indices. So...you'll just have to keep checkin in for updates 
TV Room is basically a hobby site which I fit around a full-time job and various other committments; I do try to maintain it as best as I possibly can.
Updates do tend to be somewhat sporadic...don't always expect things to appear just after they've been broadcast
I'm also on-call this week...thankfully, things have been quiet this evening, so I've been able to squeeze in a little update

I downloaded the Blue Planet ident, and I'm VERY suprised the BBC decided to use that music.
So I've made my own version using the original ident (I hope you don't mind Mike) and I've added my own soundtrack.
Me thinks its a bit slow and seemless, but those sharks don't appear to moving all that quick either!
