As predicted by myself last year, with political discussions moving to lunchtime, the BBC have axed over two hours of schools programming a week, with 370 minutes of programmes compared to 500 mins before Xmas, and around 5 hours a day when I was at school.

The new schedule, from Monday is:
Mon: 10.50-12.30 / 13.00-13.30
Tue: 10.50-11.30 / 13.00-13.30
Thu: 10.20-11.30
Fri: 10.20-12.00

Why do the BBC get away with phasing out on off it's most important public services. C4 have managed to keep their 4 Learning slot to 2 and a half hours a day since schools programming was launched on C4.
