Ooo, looks like TV Forum is lucky to have not just one, but two spies in BBC Alba
hehe
Gallery still being finished off:

Studio with a bit of light on it
note: this does not show the actual colours being used

The titles are still being tweeked, but look quite funky given the strict 'branding' guidlines. Think 'glitter ball' tho
Branding was always going to be a bit of a compromise due to the 50:50 nature of the channel partnership and it took quite a bit of persuasion to ensure that An La could be branded as close to 100% BBC Branding as they could.
I wonder who the other spy is, but this spy thinks he can work out who from what's on the PC Screens ...............

When BBC Alba is not broadcasting TV programmes it will broadcast BBC Radio Nan Gaidheal accompanied by a rolling news ticker at the bottom of the screen. The channel is a 50/50 partnership between MG Alba (former Gaelic Media Services) and BBC Scotland. The 19th September launch will consist of an open air concert from the Isle of Skye with news services broadcasting from Inverness on Monday 22 September 2008 at 8pm. BBC Alba have purchased the entire back catalogue of Gaelic programming from SMG.
Fully automated channel with no live presentation (broadcast from PQ) with live inserts from Inverness.

I was actually keen to see if anybody knew what was happening to Gaelic TRANSMITTED by stv. Some years ago they reached a deal with Ofcom to reduce their commitment once the Gaelic Channel was running - but that was so long ago now (the channel's been delayed by years) things may well have changed.
What about Tele-G?

Is that plasma screen going to be for the 8pm bulletin (or the BBC Alba equivalent news summary thingy)? It just strikes me that it's not very much a part of the set, so i'm guessing it won't be on screen when the studio is lit up.
Love the music too.

Don't go posting that studio shot in public - ITV Regions will get ideas on how to half the Meridian studios and do all 6 south shows from whitley...
With me geek hat firmly on: What is the Vision Desk make for that setup? cant tell from the pic... last time i saw a setup that small was at one of those 900 XX babe Channels. All thats missing is a scan converter in the gallery and leopard print on the studio desk.

If it's a Panasonic - why didn't it come with the SDI/HD-SDI option ?
me shrugs shoulders... It liked HDMI, but the external converter box was boogered
