I know BBC Alba isn't available to all
and
BBC Scotland still have to show Gaelic programmes, but I don't think that the Mod, which is on next week, necessarily
needs
to be on terrestrial television.
This is the sort of thing that should be exclusive to BBC Alba IMO.

Alba's now on iPlayer. The news isn't on there, though. Notice the most popular section on the side is currently displaying only 7 programmes rather than 10 suggesting that little over 7 people have watched any of these yet!

I noticed that Ceol Country has open subtitles in iplayer. Is there any particular reason why Aifric doesn't? When it has been shown in its original gaelic version on TG4 open subtitles appear. Seems odd not have bought the subtitles!

Oh dear, over half-a-dozen errors in the first few minutes there (of tonight's show 31/10/0
. Starting without pictures, mis-timed thunderclaps, astons flicking on and off screen at teh wrong times, a presenter in front of the green screen while the headlines are being read out... not a very good first impression to make on this viewer!

Oh, all can be forgiven when the presenter is Iain Maclean
(Even though I can't understand a word he says!)
