Something very much resembling an ident at the end of the night - with some more timelapse footage - x2 stills:

The clouds move very quickly before the sky fades to black and the star in the corner of the logo 'twinkles'. Nothing too dramatic though, pretty suitable as a 'closedown' type symbol, methinks.
Assuming there are at least a few idents, I wonder what the rest are like?

Here's the launch of the channel, with a short snippet of the countdown featured at the beginning.

And lo, the biggest waste of money in British broadcasting history begins. With an intro that sets Scottish broadcasting back 30 years. Woo.
What's Gaelic for "no f***er speaks this language, which has no more validity than Doric or Scots, anyway"? Or "Is there any way of getting the part of my licence fee that goes to BBC Scotland back please, as all their programmes are pish or in a different language?"

Due to the box just having BBC in, i presume bbc arabic when it adopts lambie nairn's bbc news brand will look like a fliped round version of that.
With pink instead of teal though.

I agree.
Interesting interview with regards to this on Radio 4's PM. Eddie Mair interviewed the original director of programmes for S4C who said that when this channel was set up, it was because of two camps : people who wanted to promote Welsh language programmes, and those who didn't speak it wanting it off other channels.
Unfortunately it looks like BBC Two Scotland still are showing a block of Gaelic programmes on Thursday nights messing up the stripped 6 to 7pm programmes, among others. I'd be happy with BBC Alba if it meant all Gaelic was banished from the " normal " channels.

Indeed, and some people get annoyed if you call the langauge Gaelic and state that refers to the Scottish Gaelic language.
Oddly, the same people have no problem with the fact that the Irish langauge is called Gaelige in Irish. Gaelige means Gaelic - Scottish Gaelic is Gaelige na hAlban in Irish.
Éireann means Irish, but the langauge is never called that, and only rarely Gaelige na hÉireann.

I'm from Ireland and we usually call our language simply "Irish". Some people refer to it as Gaelic (Gay-lic) and sometimes Gaeilge. I've only ever heard of the Scottish equivalent being called Gal-lic.

Presumably you want that portion of your Fee which goes to S4C and BBC2W?
You won't get far asking for other taxes back from the Government which serve other peoples needs - so I fail to see the difference.
The better way to resolve your difficulties is to keep in mind the craft and talent skills which Scotland will retain - perhaps stopping the great flit to London for programme makers.
You can either be a nay-sayer or look for the positive here.
Which is it to be, pcuk?
