This thread just about somes up 24-hour news channels.

Hardly any facts & hours (in this case lines upon lines) of endless discussion!

The BBC Info site.

When o got to the forum and saw all this i went to the OInfo site and looked under the tv section with transmition problems. There was nothing. I just checked back. 00:40 and that section has mysteriously disappeared.

WHAT IS GOING ON THE BBC? Can someone not run down there and ask?

Very Happy I think I must be really tired, that made me go quite hysterical from it being so comical.

I need a bed...

Had anyone else noticed we're veering sharply off topic? Although hypnotising people can be fun!!

I wondered how long it would take us to go OT!

We have survived 18/19 pages staying on topic!

Beats the Sky News topic by miles!

Well if it IS europe's favourite website, then they must have some form of contingancy plan in the event of this sort of thing.

Now i know this is a popular forum but one topic staying on topic and growing to 20 pages in three and a half hours is pretty amazing.

P.S.
One hour to go, will the countdown be shown, lets hope so. Please BBC. If you don't i'll put fish fingers under the desk in N6 and Mark (BBC Choice) will cover the glass with cheese slices.

I have to admid, in the one and a half years i've been online i've never got a Cannot Find Server message from wither www.bbc.co.uk or news.bbc.co.uk that's pretty impressive.

Is this calssed as drifting or not as it's still on the topic of the BBC and power problems
