With them running 20 late, they might join BBC News 25 at 2.00 exactly

Have you just made the 'And now on BBC News 25' Mistake!!?

Yes - that would have been a great idea and if you open it at special points and perhaps have a main talking point there would be no room for imitations giving false information (or we may spot them at least!).

By the way, BBC 2 still saying sorry and running 5 minutes late!

I've seen this edition of TV to Go! Is it meant to be a repeat?

And yes, I should've brought back the chatroom for this, shouldn't I! Oh well, remind me in 12 months when the BBC have another power failure (last year's happened 12 months and 10 days ago Smile )

Cheers, Asa

Would have been good but hindsight is a wonderful thing.. oh and ceefax is now being updates (the latest news page 150) has changed but no mention as far as I can see of the problems...

DTT BBC One has been doing that since it came back up. dunno why!!

Has BBC Two sliced some footage off Wimbledon to bring them nearer to the proper scheduling?

An extra hour blimey! - the problem is that the 4 is next to the 5 on the keyboard!

I wonder if they might mention it on PoV tommorow?

No it needs to be News 25, you've got 20 mins lost tho' the power cut, and probably 40 mins of reporting over the next 24 hours, so then er, something, I sort of trailed off there, ah well, it was humerous when I clicked reply, ah well Sad

Perhaps we could bring it back for big events.
I think there would be a way around the false name thing.
When people arrive on the forum, if they have cookies turned on (I imagine everyone has) then they will automatically be in the Active Users section.
So we could check if someone was in the chatroom who wasn't on the Active Users bit we would know they were not real.
And also most of us know each others personalities by now so it wouldn't be difficult for us to work out who was lying.
Perhaps the chatroom could be brought back for big events.
HTV Idents next week perhaps?
Sky News relaunch?
Just an idea.

Isn't Points of View recorded?! If we all bombard Points of View with e-mails then they might do something!!!

That always happens to me, Mich!! I thought it was age catching up on me, but then I remembered I was only 17!!

I don't think PoV will run it tomorrow cos it was probably recorded yesterday, or something like that - I don't think it's live.

My tape has finally run out!

Brilliant idea chesh - especially for Sky News relaunch. Why not also have a set time each week with a theme or something for the week - just for chesh we could have 'Which is better Sky News or BBC News 24?' !!!! Wink
