The presenters may not have been informed of it as the people behind the scenes were too busy trying to actually let the viewers see it!!
If the PA have reported it then Sky will have picked up on it a while ago and if they haven't said anything by now then thye probably wont say much.
Perhaps a quick note with the presenter reading over an apology caption, like News24 did.
It all depends how serious it actually is, if it is very serious then they will report it, if it is just a minor tech fault no-one will bother.

Thats the second thing that you said that made me want to quote you, but i've been toobusy catching up! Its good that there's no one here from the beeb it means that they are all at work, and can tell us what happened.
Anyway whats News 24 like now, if there was a powerfailure will they have lost reports etc.? What are UKTV going to say, power problems at TV Centre?!? We all know its half beeb owned but I wouldn't have thought that they would have wanted to shout about it? Also a new record, 1 thread 1 minute 1 subject 5 replies!
