BBC 6 O'clock News

Did any of you see the new sting that is now showed for the sports news. It looked pretty good. It's a variation of the main news theme!!!

Oh, missed that! We'll have to wait until next Friday to see it unless it'll be on the Ten O'Clock news Saturday (Did it include a '6'?)

Yes, forgot to mention this! They changed the presentation of the Sports new in the 6 quite a bit... there were no sidebars with the presenter (Mary Rhodes) unlike normal, there were the new graphics with the short music sting and a rotating six and 'sport' plus the report title.

Also during the live interview there was no plasma used but a split screen with a background I hadn't seen before - a cream/red mix with small text 'sport' repeated over and over in the background. Looked very good in my opinion.

Will someone with a TV CARD get this sting, and some presentation for us!
I'd like to download the theme - rather good.

Probably not on Sunday -wasn't on Satruday's main sports bulletin. Have to wait until next Friday!!

Fancy not using a sting for the athletics!

These athletics are really annoying me now - they've completely dominated Breakfast, and the Six O'Clock News has been getting on my nerves tonight!!

They keep using the graphic which came with the sting - but the music was only used once! So maybe it was a mistake or they didn't like it!

Sorry to make such a wild suggestion but if you really don't like them you could always turn over!
