BBC 4 new ident

When did this NEW ident appear: Record player: I like how you go looking for one ident and find another one.

I know the feeling. Decided to use the satellite recorder for UTV HD today and not BBC FOUR HD, but courtesy of iPlayer on the BTTV box, here's the video for the ident.

I hope you were still watching BBC4.... Another ident from this set has turned up.

I will say this, this evening music programmes on BBC4 are a refreshing change for a Friday night. Can anyone say if the Conceptual Art Season: Ident from September 2016 are still in use on the normal rotation?

I have seen the B&W ident with man in different poses on the blocks a couple of times over the past months.

I had to really double check but it seem there is a THIRD Record Cutting Lathe ident, which has new bits but has has bits from other two idents.

It gets shown regularly before the Top Of The Pops repeats.

After double checking again I dont know it I just saw a sting for Record Cutting Lathe, but thats just out of step with BBC4. It just fading into the ident, so what is it? sting? an ident? and if people dont understand please look up iplayer and look. - 00.03

It's definitely a sting. Easy to identify thanks to the 'Subtitles' flag used on the ident (which of course isn't on the sting).

Cheers, this is a turn up for the books because BBC4 dont really do stings.

You JUST can't keep up with this on BBC4... Another new ident for Sky at night 60th Birthday.

How on earth does this channel with very little programme budget are able to spend money on loads of special ident?
