Foreign drama thread (BBC4, C4's Walter Pres, Sky Arts etc)

Series 2 of Witnesses starts on BBC Four this Saturday. The first series was on C4/Walter Presents.

And they're in watchable quality... All4-only content (which is much of the Walter Presents catalogue) not being available on Sky VOD means I've given up trying to watch. The quality is dismal via their streaming routes (Chromecast, iOS app and HDMI Cable, browser etc.)

Hope not to come across too biased, but the PS4 streaming seems to be decent, even though they don’t bother to upload in HD, and is literally the only subtitled programming, with no subtitles available for programmes in English.

What size screen are you watching on. All the All4 streamed content I've seen looks sub-SD quality (massively worsse than Sky's SD VOD - let alone HD - on a Sky+HD box) when watched on a 50" display (i.e. my 4K TV)

Series 6 of Spiral begins on Saturday 30 December on BBC 4.

Not posted in this thread in a while but there is a schedule change on BBC Four this evening.

In light of yesterday’s tragic hostage siege in France, this week’s episodes of Below The Surface will be postponed and shown next Saturday. Tonight, @BBCFOUR will be showing the Belgian film Two Days One Night as a replacement.

Series 4 of The Bridge gets its debut on BBC Two on Friday 11 May.

Anyone know when Walter Presents will be showing seasons 2 and 3 of RTL Nederlands "The Swingers" or to give it its proper Dutch title, "Het Nieuwe Buren" (The New Neighbours)?

I've not watched it tonight but... :/

For that very reason I switch off/over the moment the 'next week' trailer or clips appear.

When Spiral was last on BBC Four, I decided to watch on iPlayer instead for exactly that reason.
