ach, I'm enjoying it - it's a wee bit schlocky but you can pretend it's highbrow because it's got subtitles Smile

Hello, this might sound a stupid question, what is Channel 4's Walter Presents?

It's what happens when somebody thinks it's a good idea to name a service after a faceless individual involved in it rather than after the content it's selling.

Faceless? Walter Iuzzolino's face was plastered throughout the adverts, and he's recorded short introductory pieces to the programmes for All4.

The sort of people who don't get it aren't likely to be the sort of people interested in the content within the strand.

Hence why he is now faceless! Very Happy

Although not related to the UK, I saw something from france which might interest some people that want to watch TV dramas from Asia:

Yep it's confirmed that Korean dramas are being shown on a prominent French TV VOD service. After the positive reception from French viewers, TF1 Xtra has also put up the Chinese-French webseries, Ex-Model on it's VOD. In other news, it's been reported in Latin/South America that Taiwanese dramas have also gained popularity after Korean dramas. I'm hoping to see the UK VOD may broadcast/stream East Asian dramas in the future given that the K-dramas shown on TF1 in France is getting a lot of positive reception over there.

Considering that Iceland is a tiny TV market -- the country's population is just 320,000 --, producing a drama series good enough to be shown on the BBC is quite an achievement!
