Les Revenants is back on Friday on More4. I'm disappointed with their choice of channel, because More4 HD isn't FTA anywhere.

In fact, I think rather than complaining on a messageboard, I might try their viewer services.

Yep - not even FTV Sad Same as ITV2-4HD. Same reason. Deals with Sky (and poss Virgin) to reduce costs...

I know I could just wait till I get home from work and check myself, but can you view All4 HD programmes on Sky On Demand without an HD subscription?

God knows.

Does Sky On Demand require a Sky+ subscription ?

Yes. Depending on the channels on Sky you wish to watch, it can work out cheaper to subscribe to NOW TV for £6.99 to catch up on shows than the basic Sky+ package at £20. Box Sets are an additional charge on Sky where as they come as part of the Ent pass package on NOW TV.

There's a difference between catch up and box sets on Sky (the latter costing extra) but you're right about box sets being included on Now TV.

Back to the original question, you need a Sky subscription but not necessarily, I believe, an HD one to download and watch Channel 4's HD programmes. You certainly don't need one for BBC HD programmes.

Taking it back briefly to NOW TV. Sky Arts catch-up is on there, including the foreign films aired recently. Cycling with Moliere and Jules et Jim are currently on there as part of the Entertainment pass.

The Returned creator Fabrice Gobert explains why it's taken three years for series 2 to be produced and why the French are so slow at producing new series.

Worth remembering the Sky Atlantic/Canal+ co-production The Last Panthers starts on Thursday at 9pm on Atlantic.

The other co-production, The Tunnel: Sabotage launches early next year.
