964. Like normal. It isn't a 'channel', it's a 'zone' within a channel. Normal networked programmes get shunted to 'BBC 2 UK' (fine for DSat viewers) or BBC 2 analogue in Wales only.

I think BBC 2 Wales should be replaced completely on DSat by BBC 2W that way welsh viewers get BBC 2 Network and BBC 2W.
plus other nations can watch a Welsh BBC Channel rather than the same BBC 2 but with a few differences
So what about viewers in Wales wanting a digital version of their analogue service? Fine on DSat - just go to 'BBC Two UK' but what about DTT and Cable viewers?!

BBC TWO Wales at 1.30pm today...already using the new aston positioning on their trails. First example I've spotted; may have been in use before now. Somewhat surprised (or am I) they've gone with this ahead of Network and the other Nations...

Are the BBC 2W schedules available online anywhere? All I can find is the usual BBC TWO Wales schedules, and although I won't be able to see it, I'm just wondering what kind of programming will be on.

it should be listed in all newspapers jsut a local opt out of bbc network and should be just like any other opt out
ITs not a proper channel and shouldnt be treated as one - its just a glorified opt out and millions of the taxpayers money has been spent on conjuring up a new name, graphics and loads of other stuff
Perhaps this has already been mentioned, but 965 on the EPG seems to be called BBC 2W all day! (well it is at 7.15pm!). Farscape is on - the same as BBC Two normal! And it's broadcast with a 4:3 pic in the middle and the 'BBC 2W' logo on the left (not over the picture) in the widescreen bit.
That really makes no sense at all does it. Go to channel 965!
