The Wales Today report saying 2W was an accident and there was a rather large silence in the studio when it went out.

2W will have a new look about it, as for what you think, well I'm not sure, but it's not something I've seen before!

As for the con, well, the style of that changes daily!!! (Depends how much sleep I get!) Smile

Would just be another sign of Londoners being stuck up their own backsides, if you ask me. What's so important about London that it needs an entire channel dedicated to it? Not that much happens there that's newsworthy. Big deal, you've got a mayor, that doesn't matter anyway because he's overpowered by the government. A transport network that, when closed, stops everything. Anyway, what's this debate programme? I've never seen Londoners talking to each other before, they normally sit with a copy of The Evening Standard filling their faces.

why should Oxford have their own channel, and Wales...

Well London does have at least the same population as Scotland and Wales combined. It's our capital city and easily the bigest built-up area in the UK. An entire channel would be a bit much, but why shouldn't it have its own opt-out service like BBC 2W?

This is of course using the word 'service' in its loosest sense.

AFAIK it'll be a different style of pres - with more friendly links from the con announcers ... as if they've been watching the shows with you.

That makes me so angry I've just kicked a hole in the door.

Well it begins at 7.30pm with 'This is 2W' (I always want to say 2D or TW instead!) a preview of the programmes transmitted with '2W News and Sport' for 20minutes at 9pm then Tom Jones Live from Cardiff Castle!

Cheers, Asa
