The IOC have handed out their medals for broadcasting, with the much criticised NBC getting Gold, the much praised BBC getting Silver and the much copyrighted Channel 9 getting Bronze.

Liked the upsum of the commentators documentary on this afternoon, magnificent, could have been much longer though.

Ah, just mentioned that in the sport thread. Yes, I could easily have sat through an hour of that. Still got the 50 Greatest Moments to watch - hopefully the talking heads on that are people who know what they're talking about, not the usual line up of people pretending to know what they're talking about.

If you mean the one which aired on BBC Three a few weeks back - you may be disappointed. Features Gabby Logan and Greg James and a variety of guests pretending to know what they're talking about IIRC

Cheap as chips though and still very much trading on the 70s nostalgia value.

I would have preferred to have a chance to vote someone out and maybe enter a viewers competition though.

Watched it today - wasn't to bad and didn't mind Greg James's role as the idiot. Half the non-sporting talking heads were OK, but most I'd never heard of - and didn't believe for one second that American comedienne had a clue what she was on about.
