302 is being all psychedelic at the mo....

If they've still got 302 space - until Wednesday - why don't they show something on it, instead of the silly Red Button video on replay.

The same animation was shown a lot overnight on 302. I believe its used on all of the red button feeds when they have nothing to show.

302 has now disappeared replaced with the MHEG, and BBC Parliament has returned to Freeview, but the EPG doesn't list any programming until 6pm tomorrow night.

Would appear to be back to normal, didn't get to see what BBC Three was doing prior to 7pm but I dare say it's gone back to the normal red screen and timesharing with CBBC.

For anyone who missed the credit reel on interactive, you can see it at http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/olympics/2012/live-video/p00w33dq?tc=2012-08-12T16%3A33%3A14-00%3A00

The montage seems to feature a lot more people falling over than the one on BBC One. It also credits many of the Interactive team in Salford who didn't get a mention in the main one.

Reflecting on the BBC's Olympic coverage and what a wonderful event is was overall, I keep coming back to one lingering question in my mind. Perhaps trivial, but it lingers nevertheless: can anyone tell me the artist/title of the music used under this "Headlines" sequence?

It's an instrumental of "Power and Control" by Marina and the Diamonds, if I'm not mistaken.

Wonderful! Cool Very Happy

It is a little different to the endcap though as there are no London buses on the bridge on the wallpaper version.

Looks like you are partially mistaken and the track in question is actually "Living Dead", but without your pointer to the artist I wouldn't have found this out. Thank you!

On the subject of music, does anyone know the instrumental that was used underneath the medals table?

London 2012: A day's view from Lund Point

A timelapse video from the BBC's vantage point overlooking the Olympic Park. It includes some behind the scenes footage too.

I've now also given it a home on YouTube, in 720p: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=av-Zme1rt-U

Bit late to this topic, but the Coming Up sequence used "Spectrum" remix from Florence & The Machine. I found this out by accident today looking for the track used on BBC One's The Accused trailer. Same song, just the ad uses the original.
