This is the montage and credits for the Red Button/Olympics channels which is currently being shown at the end of each live stream. There will be a different credits montage at the end of the main BBC One coverage (and possibly at the end of the BBC Three coverage).
Talking of Barbara Slater - what exactly has she done during these games.
She's the Head of Sport! She works on rights deals and hiring presenters and everything else a Head of Sport would do. No doubt she's also overseeing the coverage. As Head of 2012 Roger Mosey is in charge of everything from the the news coverage to the Cultural Olympiad. You may as well say Danny Cohen has done nothing, BBC1 have just shown Olympics non-stop.
Just to mention actually, regarding credits and montages etc, according to Roger Mosey's Twitter:
Quote:
There will be the definitive end montage tomorrow just before 7pm. Also watch for the start of the 7.30pm show - wonderful...
He also mentions, in another tweet, that there will be a repeat showing of the full Olympic Review on Monday at 10.35pm on BBC One - as confirmed at http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b01m880f
The credit montage is airing now on BBC Olympics 1.
EDIT: And a few minutes later on BBC Olympics 6. If anyone wants to catch it early, I suggest watching the end of the Modern Pentathlon on BBC Olympics 4.
