It would probably make more sense to have the text 'Recorded' than just having a random red block in the corner of the screen like they do now.

Sorry, I meant on BBC News when they show a recorded interview and the LIVE/location tag is present, but the Live text isn't. Sort of like this (used here erroneously on archive footage):

Yes it does seem so - I haven't gone any further than signing up but it looks like anyone can make a purchase.
