It would be nice, but the ident into Heir Hunters was the standard 'Bikes' one. Perhaps waiting till the Olympics actually start, or reserving it for Olympic programming only?

I'm hedging my bets on an ident based on the 'circle' of the Olympic stadium on the junction into 7pm.
This was just on Breakfast: looks great but it seems odd that they can get the BBC One logo mixed up, when the proper one is actually right next to it!
Didn't really know what to think when I saw this earlier - no real reason for getting it wrong there. I guess either they didn't have a regular boxed current logo when knocking up the caption (which still would raise a question as to why not), or whomever was responsible has no proper understanding of the brand - but you'd have to go some way to think nothing was wrong with those two clearly different logos sat right beside each other.
Re: the next pointer, at a complete guess: perhaps the design has been adapted to fulfill some sort of box logo based cross-promotional function for the run, or more simply that some other of these Olympics background designs would have clashed badly with the usual layout?
Was there any need to have a logo for BBC One and BBC One HD. I know its BBC policy to consider them two separate channels but one logo or the other would have sufficed and the usual 'BBC One and BBC One HD' patter would have got the point across.
Bit of a problem with the London 2012:Countdown to the Olympics titles on BBC ONE HD (at least). Bright yellow hue throughout - but no issues with the ident, pre-programme sting and actual programme itself.
I take it back, the exact same yellow titles (loving the green swimming pool, not) were broadcast again today at noon. They look awful.
A new 'Olympics Extra' press red service has gone live on the HD channels on Freeview, which allows viewers to flick between all the BBC HD channels by hitting left and right on the remote.

Is this the first time HD content has been available via the red button?
I'll probably get an earful for asking this but what the hell. Why are the BBC using the Olympic rings in all their swipes and astons instead of the official 2012 Olympic logo?
Because the stream is coming directly from the OBS feed which uses standard Olympic branding to all broadcasters around the world, the same as the ' DOG' graphics.

What, even the ones with BBC Sport written on? Or the wipes going from Jake Humphrey in the BBC Three studio to a replay of stuff which happened in the previous half during the review of the match?
