BBC 2012 - The Olympic Broadcaster

One other thing - the Beeb have played a blinder really by using part of the Olympics theme in the Torch Relay promo that's been going out for nearly two months, so with that title sequence a large number of people will already recognise the theme even though it hasn't been properly used yet (apart from promos and in that little frontcap).

The full 2min 40sec version has just aired on BBC One - music is epic! Different to what I expected - I presumed we would actually hear Elbow singing lyrics. But in actual fact, there's just the choir. Perhaps there will be a full lyrical version to come, but this will do fine - very, very good indeed.

Hopefully it will appear on the BBC website (or even on this forum) very shortly!

Have to say after seeing the full length BBC trailer, it all seems to fit and flow together far better than the 60 second version.

I think when it is an .mp4 file, it buffers the whole thing before playing (it is about 30mb). So, if you wait long enough then it may well play.

Do you have the same problem with .FLV files?
