Hello

I work in the Funeral Industry and I'm trying to track down a programme that was on BBC 2 in either 1989 or 1990.

I think it was called something along the lines of "Jobs People Don't Want" or something similar and this one episode was about 2 embalmers for a Funeral Directors in the London area.

Does anyone have any info on this programme or as to where I can get a copy of this?

Thanks

Were you in the programme or somebody you know? I believe that if somebody is in a programme the BBC will provide a copy to that person for a fee.

No. I was only 15 at the time.

It is probably the best detailed programme about the profession I've actually seen.

Don't Drop The Coffin was just about Barry Albin blowing his own trumpet.

Would I be better conatcting the BBC direct?

You can try the BFI Film and TV database but I guess if you don't know the title of the programme it won't be much use.

Remember the series, but not the actual title.

There's: http://www.imdb.com/

or you could ask at:

I've found out what it was called.

Secret Services: The Embalmers

Now, how can I get a copy of it?

Look up the producer and write to them.
