Problems with the Sports presenter live link! He sounded like he didn't know what was going on!

It must have been Nigel Gainsborough's first time on the main builletins away from N24. He was unable to speak - I think he was laughing & was unable to continue. He tried to re-compose himself BUT FAILED.

The 1st time he stuttered I thought he was just thinking of a name - the second time & third etc. Well he'll never be on their again.

Mary Rose tried to cover it up by saying their was a problem with the sound - UTTER CRAP!

That's what you get when you put someone more used to Liquid News in recent months on the Beeb's main programmes (only joking!)

You're right about the laughing? It sounded like someone behind the camera said something as half way thro', he went 'what' to someone behind the camera, didn't he?

He said something like 'It's Ok', but I don't know what on earth was going on there.

It looked like he had a twitch or was feeling unwell, maybe he was near to throwing up, pausing to swallow it back down.

What time did this happen? I'll watch it via the wonders of the internet.

Yes it's available from www.bbc.co.uk/news

Hmm, just seen it.
Not sure what was happening there. He didn't sound too well and I know that on the earlier bulletin after POV he was shaking a bit, so either he was nervous or was unwell.
I'd guess he was just unwell but it didn't look like a sound problem because you could hear him fine.

I guess he won't be asked again. Have a heart BBC, give him another go.

He may have been stung by something? Perhaps a wasp stung him half way through because he was fine at the start and then went back to it?

I'd guess they'll ask him again if it was down to illness but if it was nerves then cheerio Nigel.

Yes, if you watch it again he's fine at the start and then he stops suddenly and seems to scratch or hold his arm. Then after that he seems to shake his arm a bit and then grab it again.
Oh how clever I am.

Can you capture it in anyway?
