Should the bbc use the balloon at xmas for the last ever time or should they use something else like the 1997 ident (the 12 days of xmas theme). Does the balloon look christmassy or does it look stupid? Should there be a new year ident made, (like the millenium dome one) or should the balloon be scrapped on new years day because its being scrapped in january anyway and what would be the point of starting a new year with the same old ident? give me your thoughts.
I like the balloon as it is completely different to the previous BBC 1 idents but it still keeps the channel's logo (globe) even though it's disguised as a balloon! I thing they are better at resembling the logo better than the ITV hearts.
When they introduce the new idents I think they should still show UK landscapes but with a real globe added, the idents need music we were deprived for too long!!!
For christmas (as this is the topic) I would do a christmassy ident like the 1997 one but with a balloon!!

Polls which attempt to start a conversation on a subject are one thing, but polls created just for people to go 'Yes' or 'No' are pretty pointless.
Most of the polls started recentally have been started by Andrew. Including the stupid ones that are asking 4 questions when you can old answer to one.

I hope no ones minded my BBC 2 Idents Poll which ahas been running for a few weeks & the final round is this week. There are ten option nearly every week, for u 2 chose ur fav 2 and it's the most sucessful 2s in the poll this week!

No yours are fine, the way they are done is good and links them well, but Andrews are awful, most of the posts just say 'tv forum' and that really annoys me.

Just a little tip, put the question in the thread title or description, and the choices for the options of the poll.
