BB House Question??

Hiya guys.

Me and a few mates are going to be in the Elstree Studios area and are thinking of passing by to get a look at the BB house. But before we go out of our way to go there, can anybody tell me if it's possible to see the house from the outside of Elstree anywhere?

Well, whilst this pic shows the BB House on the edge of the Elstree Site (the triangular building marked by the arrow), I doubt whether a clear view can be seen from any of the surrounding land.

I am not sure of the local topography, but I would suggest that the site was chosen for that reason.

The building at the bottom is Tesco - so if you stand in the car park and shout "Get Charley Out" they'll here you...


... well, everyone but Charley probably will.

Hopefully the other HMs will get a clue.

But in "Charley-World" there were placards proclaiming undevoted love to this annoying b*tchy cow.

I'm glad I don't live on "Planet Charley", it must be very lonely being the only one there, and that incessant echo of the voice must drive the inhabitant MAD!

EDIT: The only people "luvvin" up Charley are those who work for the same agent who is grabbing her the minute she gets out of the house. (oh, that would be Dermot & Davina.........purely co-incidence......let's see)

"Crowngate" is nothing compared to the misdemeanours that have gone on in BB over the last few years. Maybe that's why people don't believe they chose the winner anymore, or even select the evictees!

From the Tesco's delivery road (for it is that where you stand - if sad enough) all you can see, is a massive metal slatted fence, and the protective green mesh along the length of the roof of the house.

The actual location of Elstree was chosen because A) Endemol wanted a location within the M25 and B) The house sits on top of the old Elstree studios water stage, so very little plumbing for water/sewerage was required, unlike the old house at 3 Mills in West Ham that needed septic tanks galore.

Actually (IIRC) the old Big Brother house was in Bow ... and not too far from Lock Keepers Cottages.

The 3rd house is currently being built at a top secret location.

You can see how very close it is to Tesco... Which is were I parked when I saw WWTBAM as it happens. Quite a nice cafe in that Tesco.
