I'm just reiterating what Sky wrote on their tweet.

No blue tick. Fake account.

I must admit, I often cringe when I read things like that. I get that it's their hobby, but it's just so misleading, as demonstrated above; and rightly or wrongly, it makes them come across as complete loons.

But back to ChuckleVision: along with Art Attack, it formed a big part of my childhood, and both shows are ones I remember fondly. I think my favourite episode of ChuckleVision as a kid was the one where Paul and Barry are running a cafe, serving such delights as "Sosige n' Chips", and "Spuggeti". Yes, it's silly, but as a little kid, it tickled me tremendously.

And this episode was the last ever TV appearance of Ted Rogers:

Chuckle Time is still set to air tonight at 18:10, I imagine they'll be some sort of 'in memory of' card at the end.

Sky EPG has been updated to say it is being shown as a tribute to Barry.

Simple but effective.

I also found out about him sharing a Britain First post.

Nobody’s perfect. I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt.

I think, once you've seen the particular post in question, it's not nearly as bad as it sounds (it called for anyone who left Britain to join a terrorist group to be stripped of citizenship and barred from re-entry - not something to debate here but hardly the worst kind of statement you could expect from that organisation)

A lot of what Britain First did, especially in their early days, was make quite a lot of posts that people were likely to share as a way to slowly suck them in to the worse stuff. So I'm not sure you can blame some people for sharing some of their stuff, especially if they didn't even know much about who they actually were.

Interestingly Chucklevision only ever had two opening sequences: The original "target board" that lasted I think two series and the better known one on the white background that lasted twenty odd years which was crudely upgraded to widescreen but was never remade.

The clips in the title sequence got updated quite frequently though.

Clips yes, rest of it no. Mind you it was easy to convert it to widescreen without cropping the crap out of it. Smile
