ChuckleVision ran for 22 years uninterrupted, which for a scripted Children's show is something I don't think will ever be beaten for the same show to run continuously.

Only Sooty, Jackanory and Playschool beats that, but they've been fronted by different people over the years. Paul and Barry fronted that show the whole way through.

Of course as well there were indeed four 'Chuckle Brothers', Jimmy and Brian were their older brothers. Jimmy probably the most well known as being Mr 'No Slacking'.
Are you counting Blue Peter and Newsround as unscripted? Because I'm pretty sure they're not... and Grange Hill definitely isn't.

Also that's just the UK, Sesame Street certainly beats it, and Power Rangers is on it's 25th anniversary (it's Japanese source being 43 years old).

Of course none of those shows have maintained a constant cast throughout. That's what was so amazing about Chucklevision.

Only two of the cast members stayed the duration, as mentioned the other two brothers appeared in the early series. Also Billy Butler the DJ had a regular story slot in the first series

There's a lot of chucklevision on YouTube, including the first series. It was a different format originally, and largely studio based

How very sad. I didn't know him too well on screen. I didn't realize that he was ill.

May he R.I.P. Condolences to Paul & the rest of his family.

I also found out about him sharing a Britain First post.

Nobody’s perfect. I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt. Part of my childhood, many happy times had.

They were the sort of people you’d expect to go on forever, keep turning up on stuff like the ‘kids tv’ episode of Pointless Celebrities.

Almost everyone of any age from about 20-60 will have known them, having done ChuckleVision for 20 years and then when you factor in how in the 1990s adults used to catch kids tv on BBC One even if they weren’t kids themselves.

In my day if I wanted to pretend to run a TV channel, you did it in your bedroom with paper and pens.

These days you have a Twitter account in the actual real world.

Chucklevision was quite different in its early days...

And then there was their game show To Me To You
