Once again, the Bolshevik Broadcasting Company is paying non licence fee payers to win prizes whilst the makers of the programme have a good all jolly up in the USA.... at our expense.
Its disgusting.
The Licence Fee must end. The BBC must be privatised.

Whinge, Whinge, Whinge - all the time
Couldn't this have gone in the existing TV Licence thread?
AND - just to point out, the money that they use is NOT given to the contestants, anything bought with it is BBC property (until it is auctioned) and the contestents DO NOT have any financial gain as a result...
Is this a BBC WW production like Ground Force USA?
Honestly Steve stop whinging on - you are so boring.
Twas what I was thinking. If it was commissioned by BBC America/Worldwide, the licence fee has nowt to do with it. If it is a UK thing, it still has nothing to do with it because the funds would have been raised through enterprise such as telephone lines as already mentioned. Otherwise it's being taken from the budget already given to BARGAIN Hunt.

Usual chirpy self..... I guess that's why they call it the blues...... and heaven knows I'm miserable now.....
steveimp has reported
all
of these posts as abuse, it would appear. And moreover, he actually took the time to report all of them, instead of ticking the simpler "check posts in the vicinity" box.
Unfortunately, steveimp, I don't consider the bulk of this to be abuse. Instead of putting forth an opinion and then leaving the thread, perhaps you could consider possibly replying to the topic. I understand you frequently say that if you do respond, we'll ban you because of what you say. However, I put it to you that if you respond thoughtfully and positively, this will most certainly
not
happen.
Or, conversely, you could continue to hide behind the RTP queue ...
Whilst I'm not the BBC's biggest fan, I would have to argue with stevegimp that any programme needs some sort of budget... and the money given to contestents on BH is pretty vital to the aim of the show. Whilst I'd agree entirely if the BBC was churning out Who Wants to be a Millionare?, I don't think this show justifies such a vicious backlash.
Fame Academy deserved one though. Scrap the license fee, I don't want my money paying for
that
crap.
I sooooo HATE David Dickinson presenting! He is awful, sooooo cheesy, and Camera Hoggs loads!!! I hate his sketches and they call him "the duke", more like "the idiot"!!!
Why can't the BBC axe him? Surely there is no-one out there that likes him!!!
They should hire Tim Wonocott, give him a try! He sercently isn't as bad as David! Or get a new bloke in!
AXE DAVID
