I enjoyed Babs the last time round, so is the right show to schedule as a tribute.

I don't normally watch The One Show, but the tribute programme was very well put together tonight. Alex Jones was clearly conscious of how some of the films got Shane and Patsy quite emotional, and guided the discussions very sensitively afterwards. The programme felt like it hit the right tone.

Why do This Morning blur all of their photo inserts?

Obviously to avoid showing images they don’t have the rights to.

How cheap of them.

How cheap of them.

It’s probably got more to do with convenience, they don’t want their videos to be taken down so better to takeaway that risk.

You've not been on the end of a YouTube copyright claim have you? You could lose the entire channel.

Looks like they updated the end credits to Babs to say that Barbara and Scott stayed together for the rest of her life.

Networked channels and those who claim copyrighted material used to have additional protections from the copyright bots.

Yes, you can use copyrighted stills and archive footage for reporting an obit under fair use (as I understand it) but you can’t use it forever afterwards on the internet without clearing and coughing up, hence the blurring.

2 family members of mine, who are no longer with us, use to love Barbara Windsor's acting prowess while she was on Eastenders. The ferocious fights of Peggy with various characters, the lovely on-air chemistry between herself & Frank (even though it wasn't always perfect), Peggy's health troubles from the breast cancer storyline. She was just a great actress with a great sense of power & greatness on screen. She was also a bubbly bit of fun on the Carry On movies when they were released in UK cinemas from the 60's. May she RIP.
