Rest in Peace Barbara, a wonderful actress who always came across as a lovely person in everything that we saw.
I remember seeing a behind the scenes film of a Lorraine Kelly GMTV segment coming from a boat for the day with Barbara as a guest, and she came across so warm and welcoming when just chatting to Lorraine and the crew.
As somebody who lost their Mum to Alzheimer’s my heart goes out to Scott and her family today too, it’s a cruel disease that takes away the sparkle in a person long before their time. I congratulate Barbara, Scott and the family for everything they have done to raise awareness of the condition.

Just found this great duet with Steve McFadden, it could do with some airplay today.

I am really gutted about this icon's passing and I'm really gonna miss her.
My condolences to EastEnders cast members past and present who got the chance to know her, and to Barbara's family at this unfortunate time...
Also I'm with fanoftv, Barbara should be looked to as an inspiration to those who have to deal with loved ones who have the same condition as Barbara did. She and her family have managed to raise more awareness of such a scary and cruel disease such as Alzheimers and they should be very proud of themselves for doing so.

Just announced on This Morning that Carry on Camping will be shown at 6:50pm on ITV3
I'd like whoever has the current broadcast rights for the first twelve "Carry On..." films (Channel 4?) to give Carry On Spying - Babs' Carry On debut - an airing, as a tribute.🤞

She will forever be remembered as Peggy Mitchell and also for her Carry On films, may she RIP

I think you could have predicted there was a good chance of at least 50% of that pair not being with us.
Don't forget the infamous '2000 Today' Lotto draw!
I don't think anyone would have predicted back then that just under 20 years later both Dale and Babs would no longer be with us

I think there would be something a bit about off about showing that episode today. The story of her life seems much more appropriate and although it’s been shown recently it’s likely to have been missed by many as it lacked the pertinence then.
A nice touch to show Babs again but would have preferred a re-run of her last episode as Babs was only repeated a couple of months ago during the EastEnders hiatus.
