hi, i was just wondering if you could think of any adverts that have been banned in the uk in the past couple of years due to complaints from parents?

i know of the tango advert, where the genie type bloke slaps peoples faces, was just wondering if you knew of any more?

I remember one a few years ago (I think it was for the Xbox) with a woman giving birth. You see the baby flying through the air gradually growing up and landing as an old man in a coffin.

Yeah, I saw that.

"The ads they had to ban" or something, it was on five about a year ago.

There was that Marmite Advert a few months back which featured people diving into a big blob.

Wasn't the BBC digital promotion with the heads banned because it was too uncomfortable for viewers?

The Walkers advert which supposedly depicted a kid's hamster being sucked up the vaccum cleaner was banned.

The famous XBox advert was also banned, clever though it was.

You used to be able to find a big list of what adverts people have complained about on the old ITC website, though since its gone under OFCOM it's kind of hard to find now.
