The ending was kind of obvious - Scott had no reason to try and steal the money, Stacey did.

I don't see why he was so disappointed though. If I was in his position (and contracts permitted, which they probably wouldn't) I'd just say I'm handing over cash - you do whatever you like.

Well, this evening's mistake was a contestant trying to buzz in but her buzzer not working. According to the programme, she didn't buzz in, in time. I don't know if that was true or not. George Lamb obviously thought she had buzzed in, in time because he asked her to answer the question anyway and then started talking about buzzers not working while using the word 'guys'.

Not sure if this was a George Lamb mistake or a mistake by someone else tonight.

I saw that show. The question had timed-out, with the appropriate noise and lighting effect happening to indicate so. However, George somehow missed that - so he stood there and let the contestants try and buzz. The buzzer didn't work (as it is presumably designed to) because the question had timed out.

George then decided to tell everyone there was a fault with the buzzers, when there was no fault at all. The gallery would then have had to tell him what was going on. The result was that he tried to correct himself when he came back from the next commercial break but somehow managed to make the apology look a bit dodgy too.

Countdown's Rachel Riley reports that she, Popstar to Operastar's Alex James, Dancing on Ice's Donal MacIntyre and Celebrity Big Brother's Amy Childs will be on The Bank Job this week.

I was expecting Jack Whitehall, Davina McCall, Richard Osman and Brian Downling.

I thought this was supposed to be a celebrity version?

Those shows mentioned aren't even what they're famous for! They should've said TOWIE for Amy, comedian for Donal, and singer for Alex.

I haven't heard much of Donal's comedy, maybe he's hoping he can slip on stage instead of Michael one night, and people won't notice.

I think most will know him best for his work as an investigative journalist.

Investiwhative whatalist?

Seriously I've never heard of any of them.

(Well OK, assuming Alex James is the bloke from Blur I've heard of him).

Saturday's line up is Eastenders' Martin Kemp, The TV Show's Krishnan Guru-Murthy, star of stage and screen Shappi Khorsandi and The Vault's Olivia Lee.

Saw some of this earlier, there certainly doesn't seem to be any tension in George's presenting style. It just seemed to be a case of "lets get it over and done with".

George Lamb seemed more relaxed on Friday's first celebrity episode, I don't think he was very good at the whole building fake tension thing thoughout the rest of the series so this was a nice change. I don't believe he made any real mistakes on Friday either. Some music was played too loud and drowned him out which may or may not be his fault and a "needs £6000" graphic appeared at one point when the game/round was already over which also wasn't his fault. It is nice to see other people on the show making mistakes once in a while. It gives George Lamb a night off. I think Friday was the first show where he didn't make any noticeable (by me) mistakes in the entire two series.

On Saturday he was back on form, and fell up the stairs within a minute of the programme starting which was good to see. Unfortunately, it was not included in the clips montage at the end of the programme.

I was pleased to see Rachel Riley win on Friday as she was clearly the only person on the show who fully understood the rules (I include George Lamb in this) and had bothered to play the online game before appearing on the programme. She also revealed that her favourite/lucky number is 11. This may be old news for TV Forum members who are regular viewers of Countdown or those who follow Ms. Riley on Twitter but as I am in neither of these groups it was new information to me and I found it very interesting. I'm aware of another blonde TV presenter whose favourite number is 11 too.

I think Krishnan Guru Murphy let himself down badly on the programme this evening and I will never watch Channel 4 News again as a direct result of this.

I noticed that Olivia Lee said "do one" on the programme on Saturday, this made me smile as it brought back many happy memories for me. You used to hear it on TV all the time a few years ago but I can't remember the last time I heard it before Olivia Lee said it on Saturday.
