Have you noticed that every Bank Holiday on BBC1 always starts with Animal Park repeats at 9am!

Just an observation that's all

The schedules on a Bank Holiday are so poor, they might as well just show the usual daytime programming, at least Paul O'Grady is on as normal later

Yes indeed the BBC1 schedule for Bank Holiday mornings is awfull at the moment. BBC1 used to show CBBC every Bank Hoiliday until 11am, but since BBC2 took over the CBBC slot, BBC1 have been forced to show endless pointless repeats of Animal Park in the 9am slot. The old schedule used to be perfect, with BBC1 showing CBBC and BBC2 showing a morning of vintage classic movies.
Ah well, maybe the new BBC1 controller Peter Fincham will make a few changes come the August Bank Holiday, fingers crossed Smile

Five usually stick to the routine schedules anyway, even at Christmas, the only part of the schedule that usually changes is the morning, as next week there is no Wright Stuff, so there's more Kids programmes in it's place.

Though really the only channels that have different schedules on the whole are BBC1 and ITV1 and that's how it has been for some time now.

Sky channels don't seem to change that much either, UKTV Gold have been using Films for most of the evening and ITV3 has been showing the 1st part of Jesus of Nazareth, which had an animated with sound Granada International endcap.
