Ballet has been used at 13:40 into Telling Lives or whatever it is called! Is this a regular occurance?

Isn't Neighbours on at 13.40?

Isn't this feature just on the Northern Regions ie. Yorks&Lincs, NE&C and North West??

It may well be just a regional feature. It was popped in just before neighbours

It was mentioned in the Yorks and Lincs thread last week, its actually played out across the English Regions from LDN. That's why the ident and voiceover seems rushed and not to the usual standards. Last week they used a very short bit of Skateboarders

So was it someone pressing the wrong button and giving us Ballet instead of Music Video, or is this pro so special it needed the Ballet treatment. I will look tomorrow and see which ident it used.

There's no such thing as just pressing the wrong button, if it's in the schedule the person operating the channel will know it's coming.

Telling Lives was part of the week of programming about Teens. They were on after the lunchtime local news all last week. Not sure why they're on this week, they're certainly not networked.

It was a rather bad quality ident as usual, but I think that this was coming from Leeds and even then the opting doesn't go smoothly.

But I checked the Nations and London at 1.40 (God bless NTL) and they were still on the Regional News. Plus since when has London been doing the Weather for Wales at Lunchtime, as I noticed John Hammond was on the One and Wales Today. (But taped on WT)

It was a one-off due to illness.

Ballet was used again today...shame they cant make it longer

I know and it was lovely to see Ballet again (Even though it was a poor quality version). I wish Ballet was back to normal use on BBC ONE as it’s a nice ident really.
