Big fan of Sandi Toksvig, but I'm not particularly sad to see her go from Bake Off. She's very ordinary on it and the little skits with her and Noel Fielding really don't work. In fact in the last series Noel has seemed a lot more at home in the tent, he's had a better rapport with the contestants.


Mind you it really needs Mel and Sue back. Now that none of the projects they stayed at the BBC for seem to have materialised they should return

Wouldn't be surprised if Mel returned - she'd work well enough with Noel and very much a jobbing presenter now who despite earlier principles likely now kneads the dough.

I can't say I've missed them at all, I've enjoyed the new chemistry. Besides their whole stance was standing by the BBC. It'd look a bit bad for them to go back on their sentiment.

I just hope they find someone of similar status to Sandi instead of trying to shoehorn a new talent who's out of their depth.

Dump Noel and let Harry Hill take over.

Sue wouldn't be presenting if it was still on the BBC, she had disputes.with Love Productions long before the C4 move. I notice no mention of them in the statement from Sandi
