Its BAH HUMBUG at STV

I see Grampian (STV) have NO Christmas idents yet again........how pathetic!!!!!

Well, I didn't expect much, but the least they could have done was added a bit of sparkle around the logo on idents, promos and ECPs.
Maybe we'll see something at the weekend, maybe Xmas Eve.
Scotsport has a few Xmas decorations in the studio though...

Aren't STV normally a bit later than most - I remember in previous years they've only thrown them on at Christmas Eve.

Not very advertiser-conjusive - you'd think advertisers would want viewers reminded of Christmas as soon as possible so they run to the shops - but perhaps SMG are off radar for the London media agencies.

Mind you, what can they do to make passing the S festive, unless they come up with a graphic version for Christmas. My bet is they wont bother. They're on autopilot nowadays.

It's never too late, I wouldn't give up hope on STV having Xmas idents just yet

whats every1 worrying about?! itv1's hasnt started yet (although theres speculation in this thread they wont have any) and utv's started stupidly early. theres plenty of time yet and looking at stv's track record a christmas eve launch might be a safe bet.

They almost definitely will have Xmas idents. Normally at xmas eve

I know its only the 19th but everyone else have started....inc the BBC.

Maybe they can't afford any this year.......pay the electric bill or have Christmas idents.........hard one ehhh?????

I Be very happy if STV starts on Saturdays, and stops using them on the 27th!

stv are now using their 'Christmas presentation'. Basically, they've just added sparkles round the S on the idents.
