Has everyone noticed that News 24 is going out all week on BBC 2 until 09:30 everyday. It really is a good idea as it allows people to get a full taste of the news and other stories from 6-9 and then a normal news bullitain at 9.

Keep it up BBC!!
Yes, I thought they would just extend Breakfast by another half hour until 9.30 and then just resume normal programming. However, they do a 'This is BBC News from the studios of News 24', presented by the normal N24 presenter, this morning being Philip Hayton.
Whilst looking at Sky's EPG last night I noticed that during Breakfast on News 24 next week that breakfast is only on for the first half of the hour whereas on BBC Two it's on for the full hour, is this a mistake on the EPG or are News 24 sharing with world?

Its just the EPG. BBC TWO always displays just as 'Breakfast', whereas News 24's is more detailed.
I think this is probably because Breakfast are likely to be running back half hour VTs on Christmas Day and Boxing day. These are billed separately on News 24's EPG, but the whole duration is just billed as a single show on BBC Two's (as as far as BBC Two are concerned it is a single lump from News 24)
A similar thing happens on News 24 overnights - News 24s EPG details the individual shows, BBC One's just shows 'News 24' and doesn't break down into the individual shows.
