Keira Knigtley was nominated but lost.
You would have thought with more interest in the BAFTAs this year they would have put on a more entertaining show. Even the Oscars which takes itself very seriously has the odd entertaining moment. This was just terminally dull and nothing more then a podium for British Luvvies to desperatly convince themselves that the British Film industry is thriving - which it isn't.

At least we can be grateful that the TV show didn't go on for an eternity and have interminable numbers of commercial breaks, like the Oscars does. Also, the editing means that winners don't get rudely shut up by the band striking up some music - which I find really insulting on the Oscars.
