Isn't it sometimes the case that the generic Radio Times still is used if the cover features a major ITV programme?

Yes, good point - although that's not supposed to happen very often, of course. I do think the BBC can be somewhat excessively old-fashioned when it tries to pretend that commercial broadcasters and their programmes don't exist.

Why on earth would you want a copy of the Radio Times when you
can get all the info you want earlier than when the Radio Times is
published and at a fraction of the price from DIGIGUIDE.

As good as DigiGuide is, it only runs on Windows. Not all computer users, use Windows.

the same happened this morning at 9am on bbc one england during the daily play lottery update. the announcer apologised for the "error on the screen" (or words to that effect).

Plus it doesn't have all the articles and fluff that RT has (although no other TV guide talks to you - heehee)

it's not available to the public until Tuesday! (or Wednesday if you get it from NTL!)

And of course this week those of us in London who take the NTL Radio Times won't get it 'til THURSDAY because of this damn postal strike!

Mind you, most of the country might be affected by the strike as well if any post is routed via London...

Damn! I won't have anything to read this morning! But still, won't get any bills either!
