Baddiel and Skinner Unplanned

Just wanted to make one point about this before the series starts in earnest on Tuesday on ITV1. 11.00pm is a bit late to schedule this show isn't it? Have they put it on at this time to avoid the clash with Big Brother that will continue throughout the Summer? I guess so. And, it's interesting that they are showing the show FIRST on ITV2 on Mondays at 9.00pm. Is this for people who are dead to the world come 11.00pm on Tuesdays?

As I said, shame it could not be on earlier but I guess people watching Big Brother will switch over at 11.00pm to watch and will probably do better at that time rather than 10.00pm before the news from ITV.

What does everyone think?

Well its to encourage people to go digital and watch ITV2 isn't it. You can see it first on there or wait until 11pm the next day. Another way ITV2 can promote itself.

I was going to watch it on ITV2, but I watched a DVD and completely forgot about it.

Good idea putting it on ITV2 at a better time first, as the show always used to occupy the 10.30pm slot, but this is the first series since they moved the News to 10.30pm, so 11.00pm is their best bet. Granted there's no other comedy on at 11.00pm, but there's Sugar Rush on Channel 4 which is doing well in the ratings.

But otherwise I glad to see the show return, a simple format that is quite funny. A shame they didn't do it last year, but we had Fantasy Football to compensate for that, which I liked despite it being poorly recieved and getting no viewers.

Nice of Frank to welcome "the one viewer on ITV2."

They look like they've been living on the streets for the past year or so, nothing like the caricatures behind them.

This has to be the best thing ITV has done in a long while The return of Baddiel and Skinner!!! Maybe they are listening to us for once.

It is! This is quality television and ought to be recognised as such. Probably the best entertainment show all year by ITV so far!

Yet it goes out at 11pm and here's me thinking another gem wasted by ITV, just like TV Burp, which regularly won it's terrible slot of 5.30pm on a Saturday, usually getting 5 million. So if that doesn't make ITV sit up and pay attention I don't know what will.

ITV have obviously pushed the budget bringing Baddiel and Skinner back - no new titles/studio, sponsored by 888.com. See! This is what Celeb Love Island did.

Still, great show again!

Well technically not ITV's fault but more of the production company, Avalon for updating things. Although I wish they did at least update the opening titles as that shows a thin looking Frank but when the show starts, up pops a chubby b@$*ard!

Yeah, Frank has certainly let himself go over the past few years.
